STRATEGIC PLANNING

After in-depth research, database-building, and analysis produced step-by-step Action Plans aimed at accomplishing Objectives in six Key Result Areas(KRAs).

BPCP (KRAs)

KRA 1: Governance
Identify and develop a recognized governance structure for Balboa Park cultural institutions to interface with and influence the City of San Diego in the oversight and management of Balboa Park.

KRA 2: Parking
Be a leader and collaborator in long- and short-term planning for parking, anticipated circulation, access, and land use in Balboa Park, satisfying the needs of all institutions and visitors.

KRA 3: Collective Business Operations (CBO)
Design and implement a collective business operations program (e.g. for group purchasing, information exchange and share excess capacity).

KRA 4: Marketing & PR
Bolster marketing and public relations efforts for BPCP institutions, individually and collectively.

KRA 5: Education
Support collective education programs.

KRA 6: Culture of Sharing
Create a culture of sharing and communication.
