Sustainability Program (BPSP)
The Balboa Park
Cultural Partnership is the collaborative body and collective
voice for 24 diverse arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa
Park; environmental and economic sustainability is one of the
Partnership's major initiatives. The purpose of these programs is to
educate, measure and promote sustainability in Balboa Park as well as
strategically plan, implement and coordinate initiatives such as energy
efficiency retrofits, water conservation, recycling, reuse of durable
goods and collective business operations. The sustainability programs
are supported by the Partnership's member institutions, Park
stakeholders, the City of San Diego and San Diego Gas and Electric.
